Christmas Lights

For those who don't know, Vivian is my new Hero for my second OYAN thing, DEH. She has a ton of quirks, likes, dislikes and is one of my most developed characters. Like mentioned in my other blog: click here, Vivian acted like a toddler over Christmas because of all of the lights... It amazed me how she would just turn sweet, sit on the cat-walk and stare at the multicolored lights strung over the banister...

There she sat, surrounded by the glow of the lights. Her hands were in her lap with her head tilted down. Her long, black hair shone from the glow as it cascaded down her shoulders and down her back. The light bulbs, varying in colors, seemed to twinkle and calm her. She stood and outstretched her hand to one of them. It was warm to the touch and the colorful light reflected onto her hand. She beamed at the rest of the lights.
“It is so pretty...”

Basically. She's quite the girl. xP

Denon, the Ally/Love of DEH has absolutely NO romantic bones in his body...He would rather stab himself than be romantic... And it's not working. He declares there is no use for love... But love is warm, fuzzy and all snuggly... He does not know what he is missing out of. :P He may come around some day... *sigh*

I have managed to get to just about 10k on FL, and... half-way planned DEH. :)

Yeah.
Kiss a horse, toss a snowball, save a charrie, start a story and ALWAYS drink lemonade. ^.^
God Bless!

Oh, charries.

Vivian: Oh, hello there.
Desini: It-It-It's a person! It is another girl!
Vivian: *looks around* Yes... Another girl?
Desini: I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE.
Vivian: What do you mean...?
Desini: I thought I was the only girl that my author made!
Vivian: Our author. And why would you think of that?
Desini: I don't know...

~~~~
Desini... Deprived from the outside world. She has Rydan, though. She is so mysterious, but I finally figured her out. :D I love her, a lot, and don't really want to bring any harm her way. She's so carefree and has a great personality. Then she gets all defensive and dark, but she always amazes me... *sigh*
NaNo did not go as well as I liked it to. I'm going to see how many words I can put into it over the next 5 days. :D
100for100 is slow, OYAN is great and everything else is just amazing.
I'll say goodbye now.
Cheer loudly for underdogs, listen to epic music, adopt a puppy and walk around in a hooded cloak.
NaNoWriMo
It is Halloween  and I guess everyone ought to know what that means... It is the eve of NaNoWriMo. *dun dun dun dun dun*
I am very excited for NaNo this year. I feel that my story is pretty well developed (the first quarter of it?) and that my characters will behave. This is pretty important to me because it has been a goal for about a year... Here. We. Go.
November as I know it will not be the same. I am fully prepared for rebellious characters, writer's block and setbacks because of school. I will conquer this and I will be successful.
Less than two hours.
Signing off.
Write coherent words, word war often and make dreadful promises come true.
October and November
100for100 is going great. Absolutely great. I'm using Acara and Ilian. Ilian BEGGED me to be a prince, but I refused to let him be a prince, so he might be some other higher class ... person. Dunno yet. I really like the story and everything.
OYAN #2 is going awesome. Sorta. I think. I'm still outlining, but I can't wait to start writing!
Another update:
Amazing Miss Sarah was looking for a look-alike character and I stepped up to try to be her. Apparently how I dressed up and stuff looked like her... I guess. She wants me to be her character, Arabella, for the movie she's making at the 2013 Summer Workshop.
Anyways... Better go.
Keep pencils and pen on hand, you can never have too many notebooks and coffee.
Princes, Peasants, Villains, OH MY.
Yes. One of my characters that I'm using for 100for100 wanted to be a prince. My reaction..? NO. NO. NO. NEVER. . . I do not like characters that are princes. . . Hard to write with, to be honest. Peasants have got to be my favorite. Heck, Iliandra, Desini, Audray and Acara are all peasants. Vivian is higher than them, but not a royal.
The villain part of the title... Is'en is driving me insane. He is antagonizing the hero and is getting on my nerves. Plus, he is not developed at all. I need to develop him desperately. >.<
Yeah. Rant-ish post. HEY. I blogged, so no yelling at me.
100for100, NaNo and OYAN
As explained in my other blog, 100for100 is a thing where you write 100 words a day for 100 days. Simple as that. :P Now, my Story idea for it is called Fleeting Light (Subject to change), and I don't have much information on it, so I'll get back to you on that. I don't even have names for my characters. Oops.
For my upcoming NaNo in November, I'm thinking about using my 100for100 idea... I don't know if that is allowed, or not... but I could try? Either that or I can start up on Choose again or something. *shrugs* I would at least want to finish NaNo. . . Desperately.
For my OYAN, I've posted about Vivi and such. This whole idea with her has me sooo excited. I now have all of my other characters and it's making me... So inspired to write. :P  The Map is going splendid and I want to start outlining the chapters, but I'm going to make myself wait.
~
So many times do I look at what I wrote or what I'm planning on writing and I think to myself:
What if this idea fails or doesn't work... At all?
Some people from OYAN pushed me on though, telling me that I need to just write. So, that's what I'm going to do. I love to write. It's a huge passion, and I can't wait to start on all of these projects.
~
Small rant.
I miss PotP. I had my MC from there in a character chat last week and I miss working on that story so much. Sure, Arron is dead in it, but I didn't need him either. Jeck is as good as gone, so I don't worry about him... but it's Kragin and Iliandra whom I miss most. I'm having Potpuh withdrawal. Glorious thing to have, let me tell you! Not. (Maybe I should write the Prequel or Sequel during NaNo...?)
Don't get me started on TLKotB . . . . I would never stop.
Have a wonderful Monday and don't eat yellow snow.
Weekends
Weekends. The two to three days of resting, partying, having fun and sometimes not having fun.
This weekend constisisted of learning how to parallel park, baking apple pies, making spaghetti, going to church and then to a gymkhana with Andy.
Highlights of my weekend...
Eating plain spaghetti with maple syrup. Where I got the idea is from Elf; the movie where the guy hands his Dad a bag of plain spaghetti and maple syrup. It is really good...
Going to a gymkhana with my two best friends and having a blast. A second, third and two disqualifications.
It was a good weekend. I hope that everyone had a good one, also!
Have a great start of your week!
God Bless
Map Working
I started on the Map today... Got to lesson three. I am quite proud of myself due to the fact that I actually didn't want to start outlining... Yes, I didn't want to start outlining because I am afraid that I'll get half way through and stop... and ruin a perfect story idea... But...I shall push through and make myself write it. *nod*
Had to post something... I'll post a better one tomorrow... Maybe.
Have a great afternoon!
Ideas.
Well. I have all of these ideas running through my head and with the help of Fuji, I picked Vivi's story. :D I really like the idea and I start planning on Monday! EEEEP! I'm thinking that I'll do Iliandra's Story {The Weakest of the Thieves} as a side project. Her story intrigues me so badly... But Vivi is so insistent that I do hers. <_< Silly characters!
Yeah... Well... That's about it for Saturday.
Have a great Sunday!
Second OYAN Novel
Yup, school is about to start soon. Monday, to be exact. I'm super excited for one class in particular, and that is OYAN. I'm unsure what to do for my second one, to be honest. Could be one out of four of my ideas.
One: The continuation aka sequel of PotP, which is the story of Iliandra and Kragin after they get married and stuff.
Two: Audray and her families story about being in a poor section of a rich city.
Three: Iliandra's story before PotP... Covers her past and the events that happened.
Four: Vivi and her story.
Yeah... I have two days to figure out who to write about....... Plenty of time! :D
I hope you had an awesome Friday! Have an awesome weekend! ^_^ God Bless!
Vivi!
Eyup, new charrie that is now my FAVORITE of all time. :)
Vivi is twenty, has green eyes and medium length dark auburn hair. She is a skilled archer that is often used as a scout. She's sneaky, dangerous and a comedian. I still need to brainstorm her past, so bear with me. :P
I was looking through Devianart last night and came across these pictures and it screamed at me "Vivi"! So... That's Vivi. ^_^ (Funny, but dangerous. Oooooh. :D)
Yup. I'll probably edit this or add another post later when I have more details!
*All picture rights go to Susan! I do not own the pictures. Entertainment purposes only.
It is done.
Pride of the Prince is finished. I finished it on August 9th at 3 A.M.. That was five days to rough edit. A rough edit of the whole twelve chapters, which I did with the help of some of my OYANer friends. :)
I sent it in yesterday, August 15th at roughly 2 P.M.. Let's just say I was FREAKING out. Screaming and running around. But... Three hours later I finally calm down. *nod*
I will miss writing this story to be honest. The characters, the horses, the plot... True, it could all be better, but, I will still miss it.
29k words at finish, 28k words after a really rough edit.
I shall miss you, Potpuh. Until the contest announcements, so long. :)
The finishing of Chapter Eight
Chapter Eight was ended by a tragic event.
King Arron was doing just fine one minute, the next he collapses and the bells in the church tower are ringing.  Prince Kragin is unsure how to cope with everything that is happening. His father tells him something unusual though, despite what he said in the previous chapters, which really throws Kragin off.
{Did I ever tell you I hate my MC/Hero's being male? We just don't get along.}
The Poor and the Socks, pt. 2
So...  I only have one title out of two of my CampNaNo projects. But I have the photos and I need to edit them.  I really want to start planning ... but I need to finish my OYAN. Let's hope I can get the first draft done in 10 days!
The Poor and the Socks.
Audray is a teenage girl living in the Poor Section of the rich city of Ebien. She is a bakers daughter, but wishes to be of a Royal family, either as a servant or an actual part of the family.
Acara is a dancer. She's also a runaway. She dances while wearing colorful socks with lace on them.
The Last Keep of The Butterflies
My NaNo Project 2011 was not finished.
I feel pretty strong about this story about mine. Butterflies are amazing ... *glares at a certain someone*. I really wish I don't have to halt it at the moment, but I am forced to in order to get my OYAN done. I cannot wait to edit the pitiful first 3 chapters that I have, maybe trash it and start again.  It requires a lot of imagination because there are lights, glowing circles, butterflies and animals that talk with their eyes and eyes. Plus a random language I have yet to insert because I don't know how to insert it. I love my writing projects and would write every single moment of the day if it weren't for my weird, random and short attention span.
I love to write. Don't get me wrong, we all have our Writer's Block days when our charries don't talk to us, but hey, get used to it, it's one of the characteristics of being a writer. I really like helping others brainstorm ideas for their novels, books, poems, plays, movies. Being creative and helpful is one of the best things ever! I hope others enjoy it that much too. Like on the OYAN Forums. We are one close knit family of writers, screenplay writers, artists and poets. Plus the photographers. We are always helping each other. I love when there are ten people word warring. What's word warring, you may ask. It is the timed warring of typing words and you see who wins. It can get competitive but there are always positive attitudes about it.
OYAN has taught me to bring my stories to life... to have a picture/ movie in your head when you read or write. I want to keep The Last Keeper of the Butterflies interesting like that. I owe much to Mr. S for teaching me how to write a novel/story properly.
